Qualifications

To be considered for acceptance into the MechTech apprenticeship program each applicant must meet the following requirements:

High School Students

• Must attend a full-time, state certified program at a vocational technical cooperating education facility.
• Must be favorably recommended by the cooperating education facility.
• Must have a 2.5 GPA at the accredited secondary or post secondary institution.
• Must have 95% attendance at current school.
• Must pass MechTech's machine skill test.
• Must have driver's license and reliable means of transportation.
  
• Must complete the interview process.
